Just like our Pure Vanilla Extract, this paste is made with a proprietary blend of select vanilla beans but also features the addition of vanilla pod seeds to the paste’s viscous base. Use this step-saver whenever you crave the distinctive look of vanilla seeds in your dishes (but don’t have time to slice and scrape out beans). Even more, due to its thick consistency similar to molasses, you can use this paste to add more delicious vanilla flavor to batters or sauces without thinning them out.
To replace vanilla extract in a recipe, simply measure the same amount of our Pure Vanilla Bean Paste and add. Or, replace one tablespoon of paste for every one whole vanilla bean.
